I want to start off by saying though I'm glad the changes were made, I want to thank those three for their efforts. These are men who wanted to be here but it didn't work out and so they had to go. Now to the matter at hand, what "change" is coming to Athens.Richt stated that he wanted a Bulldog defense that played hard and fast. So I guess we can probably say goodbye forever to that horrendous soft zone that isn't effective against the spread, or any other offense for that matter. I know he is going to look hard and long to find the right guy for the position. We all have our opinion who it may be and there has been a lot names thrown around. I wouldn't be suprised that Richt chooses someone off the radar. All I want is a cohesive unit that coaches a tough as nails and disiplined defense.But we've got to get better on offense and eliminate the errors that can put good defenses in bad situations as well. Defense wasn't everything that went wrong this season but as it has been stated a lot of times we needed a different philosophy. My personal choices for Georgia's new defensive coordinators are Dick Bumpas, Kirby Smart, and Tommy West. But I don't see us getting any of those personally. I'm just glad that we can have a brighter future in 2010 because maybe, just maybe we'll have that Junkyard Defense that GATA that we can all be proud of. I welcome your comments..
