McKinstry has assumed a number of projects, regionally andnationally, with agencies seeking to improve the infrastructure of theirexisting facilities through a performance-based contract. Under an ESPC, a contractor such as McKinstry designs, constructs, and obtainsall necessary financing for a project, and the agency pays for the work overtime from the savings reduction in the utility bills which are then paid by theagencys appropriated funds over time. The contractor guarantees the energyimprovements will generate savings. Additionally, the aggregate annual amount ofpayments to the contractor and payments for utilities cannot exceed the amountthat the agency would have paid for utilities without an ESPC. After thecontract ends, all continuing cost savings accrue to the agency. The IDIQ Award comes on the heels of McKinstrys moment in the nationalspotlight precipitated by comments from President-elect Barack Obamas citingthe company as a "model for the nation" for our leadership in energy efficiency. With offices in several states across the country McKinstry projects haveeliminated 247,025 metric tons of CO2 emissions since 2001, which is equivalentto removing 45,243 cars from US highways or offsetting the energy use of 21, 803homes or conserving 28,039,163 gallons of gasoline or saving 1,723 acres offorest from destruction or recycling 85,181 tons of waste instead of sending itto the landfill. "With over 250 billion square feet of facilities in the UnitedStates consuming over 70 of all the electricity we generate, and producingalmost 40 of the nations greenhouse gas emissions, a meaningful improvement inefficiency clearly will have a profound impact," said Dean Allen, McKinstryChief Executive Officer.

I have a simple holiday wish this year Brett Favre needs to hire Jackie Moon to be his new agent Bus Cook is no longer getting it done. Jackie Moon was the owner, general manager, coach, and star forward of the Flint Tropics. Brett is clearly only happy when he is calling all the shots. The ol’ gunslinger is clearly one of the all time greats. And perhaps he is one of the most underrated football minds. He clearly wants the kind of freedom that Peyton Manning enjoys. Manning is given “suggestions” from his offensive coordinator and then makes the decision at the line which play will work best. He is trusted to make the right call in order to give his team the best chance.
